I enjoy the challenge of working with the resources available to create a design. This is a tutorial on how to tie a Balthus Knot. My lighting was limited, my camera was not the best quality, but this tutorial turned out better than anticipated.
This is my shot list. I thought the shots would be difficult to capture given that I only used one camera. This particular template is a great way to see how well the narration and the various shots connect.
This is merely a rough diagram of the recording set up. I anticipated using one camera angle, but was later advised to use at least two to give the viewer some variety.
This scene didn't make the cut. The narrative that I wanted to create was that my wife didn't want me to use a clip on tie for a night out on the town. My wife (a fellow Full Sail Alum) gave me a great deal of help with this project.
This shirt/tie combination did not make the cut. The lighting here was suspect. I foresee myself investing in some production lighting in the future.
